Summary: The Linden Hill academic program incorporates various methods to assist students in acquiring necessary skills for secondary school and life. However, at the heart of this pedagogy, is the Orton-Gillingham method. The School, being ungraded, facilitates students placement in classes based on similar academic needs rather than by age alone. The curriculum, closely aligned to the state frameworks, allows students to progress at their own pace.

Summary: The Linden Hill residential life program facilitates growth in personal organization, independence, time management, self-advocacy and to reinforce the core values. Respecting and building trust with dorm mates, being responsible for one’s actions and possessions, and learning tolerance serve as examples of lessons learned through boarding at Linden Hill.

Summary: The weekends provide a break from the school routine with structure. Weekend trips support the school theme and current curriculum but also reflect the boys’ interests. Trips might include a museum, local festival or attraction and are balanced with miniature golf, movies, sporting events, etc. In the winter months boys participate in a weekly ski or snowboarding program. Traveling as a group builds community and common experiences.
