We are the official guide to boarding schools, and will be hosting a virtual (web-based) world where you can learn all about boarding schools and visit with tons of school's admissions reps -- all while wearing your pajamas if you want.
Some of the best college-prep boarding schools from North America will be participating, ready and waiting to interact with you in real-time (yes, IM and video chat!) to tell you about their schools.
The Expos will offer three days of live online admissions “fairs” where you - students and parents - can login and begin exploring boarding schools in a free, travel-free, non-committal, no dress-code, FUN way!
During the six “live” hours on each of three Expo dates, you can login at your leisure to enter the virtual event where you can peruse exhibition halls full of some of North America’s top prep schools. Chat online via text or video messenger with admission reps at their booths, chat with other students and parents, and get all of your questions answered. You can even drop off your contact information if you’d like to receive more info, and you can “pick up” school view books and information to take away in your virtual bookbag.
Not sure about boarding school? New to the idea? No problem. The Expos enable you to:
- search schools by type or characteristic
- visit the virtual auditorium to watch dynamic multi-media presentations explaining the application process, testing, affording boarding school and how to choose the right school.
- interact with presentation speakers during live text chat at the end of their presentations.
