Each year TABS creates professional development programs from proposals submitted from people in the boarding profession. We rely on people like you to share with your colleagues experiences, best practices, latest trends, and successes across multiple disciplines in boarding schools. TABS is committed to providing you the best professional programs available in our industry through both annual events and our convenient webinar series, TABS3D.

TABS Conference (We Are No Longer Accepting Proposals for 2013)

Deadline: Monday, April 15
We are currently accepting proposals for our 2013 conference in Boston, MA. Proposed sessions can range in length from 15 minute speed sessions to a full day pre-conference. Prior to submitting, please read the Proposal Requirements. We're seeking proposals for the following topic tracks:

  • Academic Administraion
  • Admission, Financial Aid, & Enrollment Management
  • Development & Advancement
  • Marketing & Communications
  • Financial Management & Sustainability
  • Residential & Student Life
  • Heads & Senior Management
  • Health & Counseling
  • Technology
  • Multidisciplinary/Other Topics

Final decisions for all proposals will be made by the conference planning committee in May. The status of your proposal will be communicated by email before the end of May.


 

Global Symposium Proposals

Proposal submission for 2014 opens on August 1, 2013
Proposed sessions are generally 60 to 75 minutes in length. We're seeking proposals for the following topic tracks with an international perspective/focus:

  • Academics
  • Admission
  • Advancement & Marketing
  • Student & Residential Life
  • Multidisciplinary/Other Topics (i.e., college counseling, health services, legal/regulatory, etc.)

Final decisions for all proposals will be made by the symposium planning committee in October 2013. The status of your proposal will be communicated by email before the end of November.


 

TABS3D Proposals

Proposal Submission is open year round.
TABS3D Webinars are conducted one Tuesday each month from September through May, with the exception of December. Proposed sessions are generally 45 minutes, including 10 to 15 minutes for Q&A. We're seeking proposals for the following topic tracks:

  • Academics
  • Admissions
  • Finance
  • Residential & Student Life
  • Health & Counseling
  • Technology
  • College Counseling
  • International
  • Athletics
  • Testing
  • End of Year Issues
  • Summer Programs

Because proposals are continuously received, selections are made at various times. Notification of status will be sent out via email within 60 days of your submission.
