The Leysin American School in Switzerland (LAS) is an international American boarding school with 340 students in grades 7 to 12, with a PG program. LAS is located in the beautiful alpine village of Leysin about 90 minutes from Geneva. Excellent academics through the International Baccalaureate program (IB), family-like community, and diverse student body from over 60 nations help build a community where students develop into “citizens of the world.” The Foundation for the Advancement of International Education, a non-profit organization overseen by the Swiss Government, is the majority owner of LAS.

LAS summer allows students aged 10-17 to pre-select from a wide variety of stimulating core morning programs-Language, Academic, or Sport, and a variety of afternoon clubs. Many other sports, activities, and excursions are also offered to satisfy all tastes and interests.

LAS edge is an exclusive new program for students aged 13-18 to develop leadership through an engaging three-week program of self-discovery, focusing on our three core values-Responsibility, Compassion, and Innovation.

LAS summer provides a special experience of international friendship in a beautiful alpine setting. With over 180 students each session from more than 40 countries, participants create a truly international community of learning, exploration, and fun.
