Tilton is a 9-12 and post-graduate college preparatory school in central New Hampshire. With a small student body and dedicated staff, Tilton's faculty is involved in students' lives unlike any other school. Our programs and community are geared toward embracing the unique attributes each student brings to the table and helping them push their own boundaries, tap into their potential, and prepare for a full and rewarding life. At Tilton, we empower our students to find and unleash their own potential.

A Tilton School education provides our graduates with a powerful sense of purpose that ensures that no matter how the world changes, they will have the skills and motivation to positively contribute to the world as lifelong learners who find joy and fulfillment in creating meaningful change. Using an innovative approach to education called the Mastery Approach, we encourage our students to seek their own questions because it naturally provides a focus on learning how to learn and promotes critical thinking.

John Charles Daly Jr (Class of 1930) Whose affable charm was the hallmark of one of television's most enduring game shows as host of "What's My Line ? He studied at Tilton School in Tilton, N.H., attended junior college there, and completed his education at Boston College. Mr. Daly is survived also by his second wife, Virginia, of Chevy Chase, Md., a daughter of the late Chief Justice of the United States, Earl Warren.

John Morton (Class of 1964) John Morton is living in Thetford, VT, designing trails (x-c skiing, mountain biking, running, etc.) and writing about sports. John's second book, "A Medal of Honor," a behind-the-scenes story of the Winter Olympics, was in bookstores last Christmas. John Morton Skied competitively at Tilton in four events and was captain his junior and senior year. Upon graduation, John went to Middlebury College where he continued in all four, but his strength was in cross country skiing. He won two EISA Championships and a silver medal at the 1968 NCAA Championships. The next four years were spent in the U.S. Army, three of them at the U.S. Biathlon Training Center. He skied in his first Biathlon World Championship in 1969, returning in 1970, 1973, 1974 and 1975. Twice during that period he was the U.S. Biathlon Champion. He was a member of the U.S. Olympic Biathlon Team both in 1972 and 1976, then an assistant coach to the U.S. Biathlon Team at the 1980 Olympics. John expanded his coaching of world class biathlon skiers, leading the U.S. contingent to the World University Games in Bulgaria in 1983. He first popped up in Midnight Cowboy (1969), and has worked steadily ever since, some years appearing in as many as eight motion pictures, other years focusing more on TV movies. Working in relative anonymity through the '70s and early '80s, appearing in films ranging from Serpico (1973) to Slapshot (1977) to Blade Runner (1982), Walsh landed his meatiest and most memorable role in Joel and Ethan Coen's remarkable debut, Blood Simple (1984). Other movies include: Wild Wild West (1999) Raising Arizona (1987),A Time to Kill (1996), William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet (1996), Catch Me If You Can (1989) Silkwood (1983)
