Carlton Skinner (Class of 1930) Tilton School '30, who went on to lead a distinguished life of service and accomplishment including serving as the commander of the first racially integrated warship in the U.S. military during WWII and who was appointed by President Harry Truman as the first civilian Governor of Guam in 1949.
John Charles Daly Jr (Class of 1930) Whose affable charm was the hallmark of one of television's most enduring game shows as host of "What's My Line ? He studied at Tilton School in Tilton, N.H., attended junior college there, and completed his education at Boston College. Mr. Daly is survived also by his second wife, Virginia, of Chevy Chase, Md., a daughter of the late Chief Justice of the United States, Earl Warren.
John Morton (Class of 1964) John Morton is living in Thetford, VT, designing trails (x-c skiing, mountain biking, running, etc.) and writing about sports. John's second book, "A Medal of Honor," a behind-the-scenes story of the Winter Olympics, was in bookstores last Christmas. John Morton Skied competitively at Tilton in four events and was captain his junior and senior year. Upon graduation, John went to Middlebury College where he continued in all four, but his strength was in cross country skiing. He won two EISA Championships and a silver medal at the 1968 NCAA Championships. The next four years were spent in the U.S. Army, three of them at the U.S. Biathlon Training Center. He skied in his first Biathlon World Championship in 1969, returning in 1970, 1973, 1974 and 1975. Twice during that period he was the U.S. Biathlon Champion. He was a member of the U.S. Olympic Biathlon Team both in 1972 and 1976, then an assistant coach to the U.S. Biathlon Team at the 1980 Olympics. John expanded his coaching of world class biathlon skiers, leading the U.S. contingent to the World University Games in Bulgaria in 1983. As Head Ski Coach of the Dartmouth Ski Team, he was selected as Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Coach of the Year in 1982 and has served as president of the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association
Michael Emmet Walsh (Class of 1954) As a youth he attended the prestigious Tilton School in New Hampshire, and went on to share a college dorm room with actor William Devane. He graduated from the Clarkson University School of Business, but it was not until his thirties that he discovered his true calling: acting. He first popped up in Midnight Cowboy (1969), and has worked steadily ever since, some years appearing in as many as eight motion pictures, other years focusing more on TV movies. Working in relative anonymity through the '70s and early '80s, appearing in films ranging from Serpico (1973) to Slapshot (1977) to Blade Runner (1982), Walsh landed his meatiest and most memorable role in Joel and Ethan Coen's remarkable debut, Blood Simple (1984). Other movies include: Wild Wild West (1999) Raising Arizona (1987),A Time to Kill (1996), William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet (1996), Catch Me If You Can (1989) Silkwood (1983)

This multi-day overnight mountain bike summer camp for riders ages 13 to 18 (AYR Academy) and 8 to 12 (Summer Ride) gives campers access to the world famous Highland Mountain Bike Park and coaching from some top riding professionals and celebrity coaches who compete on the world stage.
