What's included?
In order to preserve the quality of TABS recruitment fairs for participating families, schools are required to use paid, campus-based employees of their school as their table representatives. TABS will consider exceptions to this policy (e.g., the use of parents or alumni in lieu of paid employees) on a case-by-case basis and at its sole discretion. In no event will a paid agent, educational consultant, or other third party be permitted to be the sole representative of a school or schools at TABS recruitment fairs. Schools are encouraged to have recent alumni or parents join their admissions representative at the fair for no additional cost.
In order to participate in TABS International Recruitment Fairs as a non-member, your school must be operating as a not-for-profit with 501(c)(3) status, it must be fully accredited, it must be college-preparatory in nature and in mission, and it must have a residential life program currently in place. TABS will consider exceptions to this policy on a case-by-case basis and at its sole discretion.
Requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to TABS. Fees will be refunded according to this schedule for all TABS fairs:On or before September 15, 2019 ..............75%September 15 - October 1, 2019.........50%After October 1, 2019...........No refundsThe only exceptions to this policy are medical and personal emergencies. Requests should be documented and will be considered for partial refund.
Regardless of date, there is a $100 administrative cancellation fee. Exceptions to this policy include medical and personal emergencies. Requests should be documented and will be considered for partial refund.
In the event TABS decides to cancel a fair due to natural disaster or travel advisories announced by the U.S., Canadian, or local governments (“Force Majeure Cancellation”), then TABS will inform the public and any registered school as soon as possible. Should TABS need to cancel a fair due to insufficient registrations, TABS will inform schools by September 1st.
