Admiral Farragut Academy is a private, college-prep, boarding school serving students in grades 8-12. Located in St. Petersburg, Florida, the 5- and 7-day boarding school attracts students from an average of 27 countries and 17 U.S. states. Students benefit from a challenging and engaging academic curriculum, such as foreign languages (Mandarin Chinese and Spanish), STEM, Marine Science at the campus' waterfront, hands-on field trips, and more. Every course is taught using a strong foundation of character education. Students can also choose to participate in signature programs such as Aviation (including Dual Enrollment with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University), all levels of Scuba Diving, Sailing, Engineering, and NJROTC. Summary: At Farragut we believe in producing well-rounded individuals. Students who are involved in athletics learn to manage their time, continue to stay active, and also create bonds far beyond the classroom. Our BlueJackets like to win, but more than that, they just love to compete. Our coaches, players and parent spectators all place great value in good sportsmanship. Win or lose, we will do it with dignity and honor. Admiral Farragut Academy is a member of the FHSAA and cadets can participate in sports at the varsity and junior varsity levels. Our coaches work with the athletes to help each individual reach his or her maximum potential in a team oriented program.

Farragut graduates not only receive college acceptance, but most also have several choices as to the college or university they attend. To help in this process, our full-time College Guidance Counselor assists students with college applications, college visits, interviews, scholarships, and grant applications. For a small school, Farragut continuously boasts significant scholarship dollars per capita.

Summary: Get a glimpse of the awesome that happens at Admiral Farragut Academy all year long by attending our fun and educational summer boarding or day camps. All camps are open to the public, some include a hot lunch, and are held at our campus with a private pool and waterfront.

Summer Signature Series

Description: The Summer Signature Series at Admiral Farragut Academy (SSS Farragut) is a unique summer boarding school experience for teens entering grades 8-12 (ages 13-18). Attendees will be immersed in Farragut’s signature programs while also having fun during local activities and trips. Students who attend come from all over the world including China, Germany, Russia, Hungary, Spain, Greece, Bermuda, Columbia, different states within the United States of America, and more. Attendees have the option to attend a 2-, 3-, 4-, 5- or 6-week session; however, they must attend a minimum of a 2-week session and are encouraged to attend all 6-week sessions to get the full experience.
