Overview

In a setting that is rich in history and tradition King's Academy offers a comprehensive college-preparatory education through a challenging curriculum in the arts and sciences an integrated co-curricular program of athletics activities and community service and a nurturing residential environment. Our students learn to be independent creative and responsible thinkers within an ethical community that encourages young men and women of diverse backgrounds and beliefs to excel to cherish one another and to prepare for leadership.
Academics
Summary: King's Academy offers a traditional American high school experience with an emphasis on academic excellence through Advanced Placement courses. The English-based curriculum is idealistic and rigorous, emphasizing the liberal arts and encompassing eight academic departments. Arabic language instruction is required for all students.

Student Life
King's Academy is a boarding school and has a residential program similar to any boarding school in the United States. Students at King's Academy are required to participate in co-curricular activities and athletics, as well as sit-down meals and evening study hall. Living with faculty on campus and in the dormitories, King's students develop close, mentoring relationships with teachers, with a 5:1 boarding students/residential faculty ratio.

Arts & Athletics
Summary: The King’s Academy athletic program strives to foster a competitive-collaborative environment in which students shine as individuals and also learn the value and joy of teamwork. King’s Academy features an impressive 5,548 square-meter indoor athletic center accommodating a semi-Olympic swimming pool, squash courts, a multi-purpose gymnasium and exercise facilities. The Athletic Center is a major campus facility; it provides a venue for daily team practices and individual training as well as local and regional competitions. The campus also contains a number of outdoor facilities, including multiple soccer fields and a track, along with tennis, basketball and handball courts. A highly qualified athletic trainer is available to treat injuries.
